You are a producer or distributor of craft beer, spirits, wine, coffee, lemonades or other beverages? Then reach your target group with Honest & Rare and sell on our marketplace!

Selling beverages with us is uncomplicated. Your products only have to meet our product criteria. As soon as we have included your products, customers can order directly from you.

Our business model and product promise

Our online marketplace is open to all producers and sellers of rare and special beverages. We work with product criteria that must be met in order for us to list you. Our customer promise is that all beverages on Honest & Rare are exceptional beverages off the mainstream.

We see ourselves as a marketplace for exceptional drinks that you can't buy everywhere. Quality and specialness stand above quantity. Our admission criteria are:

• Regional & Manufacture: The beverages are from regionally based manufactures and not just anything from anywhere.
• No mainstream: The beverages are not available nationwide in the national retail trade
• Focus on quality: You focus on sophisticated and high quality drinks instead of the focus on quantity
• No bullshit: only natural ingredients are used in the drinks

If you meet these, nothing else is necessary - no cover letter, no resume with picture, and no drink sample, as much as we'd love to taste.

Since we are a marketplace, we do not store any products ourselves. In case of a sale, you will be automatically notified by us and we will simply send the order directly to your buyers.

Our mission is to give special and original drinks more visibility and reach. In this way, we make high-quality, hard-to-find beverages accessible to drinkers who are eager to discover them.

• No costs or efforts for web services, payment providers and store management: You take care of your wonderful drinks and that our common customers can enjoy their order as soon as possible - and we take care of all the online stuff
• Unchanged order processing: We operate a dropshipping model. That means you ship directly to your buyers as usual.

• Free support: We are always available for you by phone and mail.

Our marketplace fees

Listing your drinks with us is completely free of charge. We are purely commission-based. You will only be charged if you sell something. We love honest drinks as much as we love fair terms:

• No ongoing costs - or trick costs to sign up or set products.
• A commission of only 15,0% (net) of the value of goods without shipping costs and deposit. So we handle this differently than other online marketplaces. Shipping costs are not your turnover, so we leave them out of it
• The commission already includes the online transaction costs for payment providers (depending on the payment method between 1.0% and 2.5%); these are direct costs for us, which are incurred during the purchase.

What are the next steps?

After a short review of your request, we will approve your account. You will then receive an email from us with detailed information about the order process and billing, instructions on how to create your products, as well as the access data to your seller dashboard with us.

After you submit your request, we will activate your seller profile within 2 to 5 days. Then you will soon be able to enjoy your own online store with us.
