OUR HISTORY

We founded BLÆK [bläg] in October 2019 in the port city of Hamburg. Not coincidentally, this is the hub of the international coffee trade.
The enthusiasm for good coffee and the disappointment of having to do without high-quality coffee in many situations and places was the origin of BLÆK.
The name of the company is inspired by our time in Scandinavia. Translated, it means ink, suggesting the association to an ideal cup of coffee. Scandinavian influenced are also the company's core values. Simplicity, high quality and timeless design. These values are reflected in the simplicity of preparing high-quality coffee, packaged in an aesthetic design.
