The credo of Cantina Girlan is to preserve the origin and the associated terroir with all its facets and to give the wine a character typical of the area.

The Cantina Girlan stretches from 448 to 550 meters above sea level and is surrounded by gentle, sunny vineyards. Here the soil and climate conditions are ideal, which is very good for the wines. The great variety of wines is mainly due to the strong temperature differences between day and night and the different soils with sand and clay.

The winery was founded in 1923 in a historic farmhouse and since then has always strived for higher quality. Then, in 2010, the investment in modern cellar technology took place, with a functional pressing room and a new fermentation cellar. In these premises the grapes are processed by their gravity.
