Château Favori

200 meters above the ground, in the middle of woods, there is a magnificent amphitheater. It is surrounded by precious groundwater that naturally moisturizes the crops, an ideal situation that has been confirmed for centuries by the name of the place: "Favori". Rosé is said to have been invented in Provence. In any case, the Romans had already planted their vines there for the production of rosé. The Templars further developed agriculture in the region and just before the Napoleonic period it experienced an enormous growth boom. This is evident in the miles of restanques (traditional walls of native stone) and the remains of drainage and irrigation systems that still grace the property today. Generations of winemakers have continued this rich past, selling their harvest to a local merchant. In 2019, Château Favori renews this tradition of excellence.
