Ryekorn: Korn, distilled since the 15th century, is one of the most traditional spirits in Germany. All facets of its eventful history - from the grain tax to a distilling ban to Korn as a component of the legendary "Herrengedeck" - are manifested in RYEKORN: Characteristic, unmistakable, tough, yet mild, not resentful, always believing in itself, authentic. A genuine and handmade rye grain from the oldest spirits factory in Hamburg, distilled from the whole grain, stored to perfection in old clay jugs. A delight neat as well as in one of our many drinks.

Rye: Korn may not be flavored according to EU Regulation 110/2008. With Korn, you can be sure that you are consuming a product that is free of flavors and additives. And above all: with Korn - unlike gin, for example - it is the actual product that makes the difference, not its flavoring. This is what gives rye, as the base of RYEKORN, its such immense importance. This alone makes a special grain, because most grain brandies are based on wheat. But also because rye - when carefully processed - makes possible a grain that is as characteristic as it is mild: RYEKORN.

Handmade: "From sowing to harvest" - and even a little further: RYEKORN not only stands for a grain that is as characteristic as it is mild, but also for one in which all the work steps are still carried out by hand. This begins with the definition of the recipe and continues with its bottling, proper labeling and the airtight sealing of the bottles, all the way to their shipment. Speaking of which: precisely because we fill the bottles by hand, the filling quantity is not always identical - but don't worry: when in doubt, we give the bottles a few milliliters more.

Hamburg: RYEKORN is deliberately produced in Hamburg's oldest spirits factory, which has been making fine spirits in small batches according to old family recipes in beautiful Hamburg-Bergedorf since 1868. Since production here is not only carried out in the traditional way, but also taste-tuned beforehand, we were able to ensure that RYEKORN is the result of a development process that is as careful as it is cautious and prudent. In short, for RYEKORN, too, Hamburg stands for the gateway to the world, but above all for 150 years of experience and craftsmanship in its production.
