Facenda da Quinta

The small family business Facenda da Quinta is located in the hinterland of Rio de Janeiro, a very hilly region directly on the Rio Paraíba. The tropical climate offers excellent growing conditions for sugar cane.

For more than a century, this has been cultivated and harvested here in harmony with nature, completely without pesticides or the like. The raw material is then distilled in a potstill using a complex process to produce a soft brandy with a strong character called cachaça. After two years of aging in various tropical woods, the brandy takes on a new aromatic and flavorful level that is mostly unknown to European palates.
