More information about Hessian Whisky
Similar to the soccer club Eintracht Frankfurt, this Hessian whiskey is a true Hessian original. The traditional distillery has existed since 1895 and is still run as a family business. Since the turn of the millennium, whisky has been distilled in beautiful northern Hesse, with great love and a penchant for detail.
Just like the Bundesliga team Eintracht Frankfurt, diversity is also emphasized in the whiskey. The whiskey is made partly from barley malt and partly from rye malt. After the different malts have been mashed, distilled and stored for at least 3 years, the whiskey is then brought to drinking strength. With 42% alcohol by volume, we find here in the Hessian Whisky a medium alcohol strength.
This mixture gives this whiskey its soft and balanced taste. Color-wise, this malt whisky comes here in light copper.
The malt whisky is bottled in a 500ml glass bottle with wooden cork. The label is a natural fiber label and reminds with the optics of a bygone era of saloons and the Wild West. The front is decorated with a rustic version of the official logo of Eintracht Frankfurt - the red Eintracht eagle. The neck of the bottle is decorated with a reminiscence of the stadium culture of times gone by: An admission wristband with a black seal. Printed in the colors of the club in black and white, like those scarves in the stadium, which are seen by thousands of fans of the soccer league in the stadium. Behind it the skyline of the city of Frankfurt is to be recognized dimly.
Of course, each bottle is provided with the official hologram license logo of Eintracht Frankfurt.
Whisky connoisseurs and connoisseurs agree: a good whisky is drunk at room temperature. Ideally, it is enjoyed at 18-22 degrees, as the aromas can develop perfectly here. Some like a few drops of water, e.g. from a pipette. Most prefer whiskey tumblers, such as the Eintracht Frankfurt whiskey glass but also Nosinggläser are becoming increasingly popular. In the bulbous shape of these glasses, the aromas unfold particularly well and rise to the nose like in a chimney.
Even though the addition of ice cubes or even Coca Cola is frowned upon, our credo is clear: the main thing is that it tastes good and our Eintracht team from Frankfurt wins the next game. In this sense: Cheers!
