Espadafor began its journey on October 11, 1939 in downtown Granada, when Francisco Espadafor Ramírez decided to focus his business on the wine and soft drinks industry.

After the death of Francisco in 1952, his son Juan Espadafor Caba continued the wine industry and also began the production of conga soda and the construction of the new factory in 1967 in the Carretera de Madrid.

In 1985, after Don Juan Espadafor Caba retired, Eulogio Espadafor Llobera and José Espadafor Llobera began to manage the business and focused all their efforts on new non-alcoholic beverages, starting with Dama the Baza concentrates, Frutaysol non-alcoholic liqueurs and in 1998 Whissin, Receiving the SIAL D'OR award for the most innovative product, Champín, a non-alcoholic cocktail for children, they became known in the international market.
