Klapperino

A short one that tastes like cake - that was the idea. This was followed by months of research, series of tests, and of course we contributed a great deal of know-how from our ongoing operations. Trial 8 from what felt like the three hundred and forty-fifth series was the final result. Interesting, because from the last row test was only smelled on all and not tasted. Because sample 8 immediately smelled so outstanding that the founders did not try any of the other samples from this row. The drunk cheesecake was born.

Why Gertrud?

In their search for a name, the founders kept heading for the question: Who makes such really good cake? Again and again the association of grandma built up. When the founders thought this through, they came across the funny parallelism that both of the founders' grandmas were named Gertrud. Cheers Grandma Gertrud!
