You can find a selection of non-alcoholic spirits and non-alcoholic wine in our store.
Alcohol-free wine alternatives or spirits such as alcohol-free gin certainly sound pretty weird to many people. But let me tell you: non-alcoholic beer used to be the unpopular and ridiculed drink that probably only aliens drank. Today, it has long been standard in bars, restaurants, supermarkets and even at parties.
Non-alcoholic spirits such as Laori Juniper No 1 are also becoming increasingly popular. Non-alcoholic wine is also experiencing a boom. Ten years ago, hardly anyone would have thought of making wine alcohol-free (#hä?!). However, the increasing variety of drinks and the wishes of people who always want something better and, above all, simply to enjoy them, have led us to the unthinkable.
After all, everyone wants to enjoy themselves. Whether it's gin, red wine, rosé, beer or a bowl of rice - using our sense of smell and taste to enjoy delicious food and drinks is fun for almost everyone. It's the reward after a long day at work, the lifestyle feeling at the weekend or the indulgence on vacation.
For most people, enjoyment and alcohol go hand in hand. Of course, we're not talking about the one or two euro schnapps at the checkout at the bottom of the supermarket. But rather wine and spirits such as gin, whisky and rum, which can fill entire books and evenings with friends both neat and in cocktails.
Even if more and more wine is available at cut-price prices from discount stores or even drugstores, this in itself is just a sign that more and more people want to enjoy themselves. Such prices may not do the winegrowers any good, but they are actually catering to the general public, who want wine instead of cherry juice.
However, alcoholic drinks have their limits. It is impossible to drink alcoholic beverages such as wine, gin or whisky when pregnant, driving or during Dryuary (also known as Dry January).
Alcohol-free alternatives for gin and wine not only have advantages for people who (have to) abstain from alcohol at the moment - they also prevent hangovers
Fortunately, drinks suppliers have recognized this need and have massively increased their range of non-alcoholic spirits and wine alternatives. Beer naturally had a considerable head start here, which is why we are still amazed at high-proof spirits and red and white wine without alcohol.
In fact, the market for non-alcoholic spirits and non-alcoholic "wine" is a huge growth market. As a reader who simply wants delicious, non-alcoholic alternatives, this may not matter to you. However, this bodes well for the fact that we will see some great innovations in gin, wine, whisky, rum, vermouth and so on in the coming years that won't give you a hangover.
One of the main tasks of distilleries, winemakers and brewers is production. Alcohol not only contributes important aromas during alcoholic fermentation, but is also an incredible storehouse of flavors. It is therefore possible to keep the alcohol content to a minimum or zero during fermentation or to extract the alcohol afterwards without any loss of flavor. This challenge gives rise to new innovations and thus new, even more authentic alcohol-free wines, gins and other alcohol-free spirits.
The first pioneers are already out there - and they are bringing a whole range of flavors to the world of non-alcoholic cocktails. Until a few years ago, virgin cocktails were mainly regarded as sweet, sticky drinks that were rather ridiculed when ordered. However, this is changing - thanks to non-alcoholic gin, rum and whisky alternatives. One of the pioneers among non-alcoholic spirits producers is Lyre's - an Australian producer that has made it its mission to make the essence of spirits enjoyable without alcohol.
The Lyre's range includes non-alcoholic versions of all the classic spirits - gin, whisky and even rum. The resourceful makers have also transformed various bitter liqueurs into aromatic liquids without alcohol. And thus paved the way for new virgin versions of old cocktail classics.
Here you can find the non-alcoholic spirit alternatives, which also taste great on their own: To the Lyre's range
The world of mocktails and virgin cocktails with non-alcoholic spirits is getting richer every day. The three variations we have selected here give a tiny taste of what is possible:

As you can see, non-alcoholic spirits open the door to a whole new non-alcoholic drink experience. Instead of having to imitate flavors via complex ingredient lists, whisky, rum or bitter alternatives create exciting possibilities for an unprecedented enjoyment without a hangover - and inspire the creativity of bartenders. Whether virgin negronis, virgin dry martinis, alcohol-free spritz, fizz or even alcohol-free mai tai - anything seems possible.
Will we soon be sitting in bars ordering one non-alcoholic cocktail after another? As if there had never been anything else? It will be great fun to experience this development.
