More information about Orca Brau Kellerbier
The Kellerbier is a Franconian classic and is brewed with the highly aromatic Ariana hop variety from Biohof Friedrich. To give the beer an extra kick of hops, it is also hopped with Ariana. This technique transports the hops into the beer in all their glory, without increasing the bitterness too much. The result of this hoppy feat is a wonderfully balanced Kellerbier that shines with notes of tart grapefruit, juicy redcurrant and spicy vanilla.
Orcas Kellerbier flows into the glass in a cloudy amber hue and is adorned with a crown of volatile white foam. The beer has a delicate aroma of dew-wetted forest, red berries and exotic vanilla. The first sip presents a light, fresh beer with clean flavor nuances. Notes of redcurrants and other wild berries caress the palate with a mild sweetness, while a hint of caramel malt and the tart aromas of pink grapefruit round off the taste experience. A hint of vanilla adds a subtle spiciness.
