More information about Stone Brewing Delicious IPA
If you read through the beer names in the assortment of the Stone Brewing Berlin brewery, Delicious IPA is titled downright restrained. The guys from Stone are not necessarily known for their modesty and like to give their creations names like Arrogant Bastard or Ripper. Delicious IPA may sound tame in this context, but it's not at all.
Behind the bluster of the riotous brewers is a whole lot of expertise, craft, and passion. The beers from Stone Brewing are all crowd pleasers and have convinced not only the judges of international competitions but also stars such as the members of the band Metallica. No wonder, then, that their Delicious IPA is indeed exceedingly delicious.
The IPA is brewed with the hop varieties Nugget, Calypso, El Dorado and Lemondrop. The latter, in particular, gives the beer its citrusy character, almost reminiscent of lemon candy. The summery lemon sweetness is balanced by a rich hop spiciness.
The finish presents a voluminous body with a heavenly citrus variety and an exceedingly good mouthfeel. The brewers have coaxed all the flavors from the hops and arranged them in grand fashion. Absolutely worth tasting!
The year the brewers at Stone Brewing spent developing this masterful IPA was definitely worth it! The result is flavorful, modern and simply on point.
