Vignobles Lobre

Vignobles Lobre

The Lobre family began their winemaking experience in 1734 in Rimons, a small town southeast of Bordeaux. Their amazing success began in 1974, when Jean-Pierre and Paulette Lobre acquired a large estate in Rimons, now the Château de L'Aubrade winery. Jean-Pierre and Paulette passed on their passion for wine to Jean-Christophe, their eldest son.

By 1995, Jean-Christophe had successfully completed his winemaking studies and then took over the family legacy. Today, the estate covers 70 hectares in the Entre-deux-Mers region and is on a par with a Grand Cru Classés in terms of its cellars. The estate focuses on symbiosis with nature and pursues near-natural viticulture with biodiversity. The white wines can convince with their depth and longevity and the red wines with their elegance and complexity.
