A handful of gods is the name of this handsome wooden carrier filled with five different beers from the Wacken Brewery and a beer glass. It is ideal for the curious who want to gain an insight into our range and is certainly also a suitable gift for beer lovers.
It contains a total of 5 bottles of 0.33l in the following composition:
1 x Sleipnir - Schnelles Helles, 4.8% vol. alc.
Its (festive) evening enjoyment is a glide over the events of the day. Sleipnir is a deliciously fresh, easy-drinking and well-balanced companion, which sometimes shouts to you after the seventh beer: "You can't stand on seven legs". Sleipnir is classically brewed according to the Munich recipe, with hand, heart and water from Wacken, refined with the aroma hops Saphir and Celeia. An excellent brew.
1 x Ullr - Julbock, 6,5% vol. alc.
Whether solstice, Yule, Christmas, midwinter or Rauhnächte, the people of the north have always brightened up the dark season with festive highlights. Of course, the perfect potion should not be missing. Our winter bock beer is dedicated to Ullr, the Norse god of winter and hunting. Although he is descended from an ice giant, as the foster son of Thor he is one of the Aesir. The beer is drinkable, malty, red in color, strengthens and warms the body and head. May it illuminate and sweeten the dark days until the spring sun breaks the ice.
1 x Baldur - Nordic Märzen, 5.5% vol. alc.
Baldur symbolizes summer, light, warmth and joie de vivre. His death heralds the coming winter. But Baldur's return at the end of Ragnarök is certain. We dedicate our Märzen to Baldur, the god of light. It is a palatable homage to summer, light and joie de vivre. We have hopped it with Pekko, a complex, aromatic hop named after the Finnish god of fertility.
1 x Yggdrasil - Nordic Red Ale<, 5,3% vol. alc.
Our copper-red Irish Red Ale is fermented relatively lean. We have fruity aromas of red berries, which combine harmoniously with subtle caramel and toffee notes from the malt. Only in the finish do the hops dominate and deliver a lasting, pleasantly fresh bitterness. The Yggdrasil - Nordic Red Ale was awarded gold at Meininger's International Craft Beer Award in 2019 - reason enough to pour this red ale into your glass.
1 x Crafty Loki - Nordic Pale Ale, 5.7% vol. Alk.
Our beer is reminiscent of Loki in that it is just as complex: the round malt body offers a full-bodied taste. The hop varieties used not only provide a fresh basic bitterness, but also ensure a powerful fruity-floral taste experience. The beer is natural, unfiltered and unpasteurized so as not to impair the variety of aromas. And because the beer tastes so good, there is a risk of drinking too much of it. That's when the sneaky side of the intense Crafty Loki comes out.

Note: Individual beers may be out of stock, so the beer set supplied may differ from the picture and the composition given here in the text. As the Wacken Brewery is a microbrewery, individual varieties can quickly run out - the re-brewing and re-filling can then of course take weeks or months. In any case, you are guaranteed a colorful mix.

Wacken brewery
We come from Wacken in Holstein, a region mostly off the beaten track. A little country, often gray and sometimes flat like the bland uniform taste of industrial beer, which we endured for far too long, like thirsty Bedouins wandering through the brewery-poor and monotonous desert. Our small craft beer brewery was founded at the beginning of 2016 by three beer enthusiasts in the heart of Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein. After months of planning and seemingly endless conversion work on a former supermarket, the time had finally come in mid-June: the brewing equipment was set up. Since then we have a so-called three-vessel brewhouse with a capacity of 20hl per brew, i.e. a yield of 2000 liters per brewing process.
