More information about 20x Forseti
Forseti, as Asgard's supreme judge, pronounces justice over gods and men. His disposition is balancing - however, he does not shy away from settling a dispute with his golden axe. He is the son of the Aesir god Baldur and the goddess Nanna and inhabits the hall Glitnir, shining with gold and silver, about which it is said in the Edda:
Glitnir is the tenth;
on golden pillars rests
the hall's silver roof.
There Forseti is enthroned the long day
and settles all disputes
His Frisian name is Fosite. He watches over Fositesland, which today is known as Helgoland (the holy land). Here his sacred cattle graze and here is an inexhaustible spring from which one draws only in silence.
Our Dry Stout could have come from Forseti's spring. It is full-bodied and rich and at the same time balanced in terms of malt body, bitterness and strength. Dark roasted aromas lurk in the depths of this well, bringing dark chocolate, toffee, dried fruit and cherries to the surface. This aromatic delight, along with the hop bitterness and released warmth, has a soothing effect and pacifies all the bickering of the day.
This beer was brewed for the first time by our apprentices in celebration of St. Patrick's Day 2019. It was so delicious and met the taste of the general public that we have now brewed it at the 'big' facility.
Like all of our craft beers, this stout is unfiltered, natural and unpasteurized. We therefore recommend a cool and dark storage.
