Daisy Gin (alt)

The starting signal for the project "Daisy Gin" fell already in 2015 on the former site of a carpenter's workshop in the north of Cologne. There we live and have lived for several years with 9 families in a very nice "yard community" and share not only gardening tools & Co. but also a great passion for exceptional gins. With a small copper distillery and many wild ideas, which botanicals one would have to try absolutely times, arose in the following 14 months (originally planned times 3 months) in countless attempts finally the today's Daisy Gin recipe, which convinced not only us, but also our today's distiller Georg Ehringhausen and above all our neighbors and friends, who had also already made an important contribution to the success of the project during the entire recipe phase again and again as self-sacrificing testers - because different intermediate results were really no high pleasure. The surprisingly positive response to Daisy from all sides motivated us to produce another, already somewhat larger batch and so we dared unawares a first small step on the exciting gin market, which was then followed by numerous others in the last 2 years.
