The natural cultivation of the vineyards and the gentle vinification in favor of expressive wines requires time, patience and sometimes a little courage. But the Haltingen winegrowers are happy to take this as an incentive to produce high-quality grapes. Little by little, the ambitious goals are being achieved in the family-owned producer association.

The Haltingen vintners, 46 active members, unite around 55h of vineyards in the Markgräflerland region of Baden and are currently doing better than ever on the wine stage. More and more often the wines convince the noses of the expert jury. It is not without reason that the Haltingen winegrowers have received many awards in recent years. With consistency in the vineyard and the know-how of our experienced cellar master, the wines from the sunny location in the border triangle of Germany are increasingly developing their own personal profile. They convince with their diversity, which makes them almost indispensable, especially as food companions!

Ökoweine-Our winemaker Hans-Jörg Sprich farms five hectares according to ECOVIN guidelines and, in addition to classic grape varieties such as Gutedel, Weissburgunder and Spätburgunder, also relies on new varieties such as Cabertin, Souvigner Gris, Johanniter and Cabernet Blanc.

The grapes are collected and vinified separately and also bottled with ECOVIN certification. Due to the diversity of grape varieties, the wines are combined into fine cuvées and complement our range. You can find the available wines here.
