Mezcal Ajal

Mezcal Ajal is made from 100% wild Cenizo agave and is produced artisan - artesanal - in our distillery, run by women, in Durango, Mexico. This means that the production is done in an authentic way with traditional methods and without additives. To ensure the preservation of the Cenizo agave, we plant four new ones with each agave harvested.

Mezcal Ajal combines the smoky flavor of agave with the soft aromas of almond and refreshing citrus. The Cenizo agave gives Ajal a particularly mild finish compared to other mezcals. This makes it ideal for mixing cocktails and pure enjoyment.

Mezcal Ajal was awarded one of 33 best rated mezcals by Cava in 2020, as well as the silver medal of the Academia del Mezcal y del Maguey in Mexico in 2018.
