Hinricus Noyte’s Spirituosen Wismar

The Brauhaus am Lohberg was founded around 1400, when beer was one of the main trades in Wismar and there were still around 180 breweries. The city book of Wismar reveals that Hinricus Noyte was the first brewer and founder of the Brauhaus am Lohberg.

Since 2010, spirits have now also been produced here. In honor of the founder, the spirits bear the name Hinricus Noyte. Several of them have already won gold and silver medals. Among other things, the distillery is known for its Aqua Vitae, the Wismarian Dry Gin and Sloe Gin, and the Baltach Wismarian Single Malt Whisky, which was even reported on in the New York Times.
