More information about Marder Gravensteiner apple brandy
The apples of this old variety come from the orchards in our neighboring villages. The apple ripens very early and can only be stored to a limited extent, which is why it is rarely found despite its distinctive aroma. These old standard trees have deep roots. This means they can absorb a lot of minerals and important nutrients and have sufficient groundwater available even in dry years.
The brandy has typical distinct apple aromas with a slightly green, grassy fruit and a fresh spiciness. Gravensteiner apple brandy is for lovers of delicate aromas and is reminiscent of grandma's freshly grated apple sauce.
