More information about Marder Gravensteiner apple brandy
The apples of this old variety come from our neighboring villages from the orchards there. The apple ripens very early and has a limited storage life, which is why it is rarely found, despite its distinctive aroma. These old high trunks have deep roots. This means they can absorb a lot of minerals and also important nutrients and have enough ground water available even in dry years.
The brandy has typical distinct apple aromas with some green grassy fruit and a fresh spiciness. The Gravensteiner apple brandy is for the lover of delicate flavors and is reminiscent of grandma's freshly grated applesauce.
