More information about Marder strawberry brandy
Only when the harvest for the fresh market is over, we wait until the last berries have reached full ripeness. They are harvested in the morning until max. 8 o'clock when it is still cool and are already a few minutes later in the cold room where they are gently fermented. If the temperatures are too high, the whole aroma is lost. The strawberry has a very varietal intense jammy nose, on the palate it is very pronounced, fruity and mild.
This brandy is often drunk in the strawberry season when the fruit is also present, and goes well with a light summer menu or, for example, after an asparagus dish and dessert.
