More information about Brauhaus Faust Winter Festbier
German breweries traditionally have a range of festive beers. Just in time for the arrival of the colder days, Brauhaus Faust releases its Winter Festbier every year. The strong Märzen is the ultimate consolation on rainy November days and helps to survive even the coldest of January days with its malty excellence.
Faust's Winter Festbier flows into the glass in a deep golden amber hue and forms a fluffy, slightly tinted head. A potpourri of enticing aromas emerges from the foam: sweet malt meets buttery caramel, a hint of spicy yeast and a fresh fruitiness. On the palate, the winter beer is delicately spicy and full-bodied sweet. The unmistakable taste of freshly baked bread spreads across the tongue, accompanied by a delicious honey aroma. The hops add a down-to-earth tartness and also give the beer a hint of citrus freshness. Otherwise, the winter beer is rather malty. A strong carbonation gives the beer a wonderful effervescence and makes it creamy and smooth on the tongue. The finish is fruity and pleasantly dry.
In contrast to many festive beers at Christmas time, the Winter Festbier from Faust is not an over-spiced punch, but a down-to-earth beer with character. Thanks to its soft sweetness and intense malt notes, it goes perfectly with meat and heavy desserts. We also think that this beer is a good companion for the next winter barbecue session!

Fortunately, the Faust family does not take its motto "Faust. That stays between us" is not taken quite so seriously. Otherwise, only the people of Miltenberg could benefit from the fine beer from the Faust brewery. Close to home The region is close to the Faust family's heart. This is reflected not only in their great commitment to local associations, Franconian culture and social institutions in the region. The ingredients for the first-class beer also come from Franconian farmers and suppliers. The traditional brewery in Miltenberg has now existed for more than 360 years, more than 100 of which were owned by the Faust family.
