Cognac Godet

Cognac Godet

Bonaventure Godet was a Dutch salt merchant who settled in La Rochelle in the second half of the 16th century. He was one of the first traders of the "Dutch brandy" later known as Cognac, which over the centuries has delighted connoisseurs & aficionados around the world.

For 15 generations now, the Godet family has continued the artful craft of transforming nature into culture. The Godet house enjoys a unique cellar environment with the humid and salty air of the Atlantic Ocean. The barrels are cared for with the ocean as a secret ingredient, producing refined and unique cognacs.
