More information about One
The fleuther EINS - we affectionately call it "our first", is a Pilsner with common malts such as Pilsener and Munich malt as well as the American aroma hop Cascade. The latter gives the beer a fruity citrus note. It is our way of reinterpreting this classic beer style. A good introduction to the craft beer world.
Attention allergy sufferers! Allergens may be: Barley malt / hops / yeast.
About the hop varieties
Cascade hops are among the best known and most popular aroma hops used in the craft beer scene. Unfortunately, more and more large breweries are using Cascade hops, so it is sometimes difficult to get a decent supply of Cascade hops. Beers hopped with Cascade have a noticeable citrusy note.
Aroma specification: floral, fruity, citrusy, lychee, herbal.
Hallertau Tradition gives beer a very fine, mild, almost sweet aroma. It belongs to the highly refined aroma varieties.
In 2011 it was the hop with the third largest acreage in Germany.
Aroma specification: herbal, floral, grassy, slightly spicy.
When we brewed our first beer in 2015, we started classically in the cellar, Cascade was not in our recipe at all. According to a friend who accompanied us in the first brews, we should simply take a bitter hop, like the big breweries, so totally boring :-).
Since this hop but was not to get I just took the next best the seller has recommended to me, that was coincidentally the Cascade aroma hops. Since the taste has directly so überezugt us the beer should of course remain exactly as we had brewed it, with the Cascade and its beautiful floral citrus notes.

Fleuther
Our fleuther micro-brewery is located in Geldern and was founded in 2016. Oliver and Sylvana develop the recipes themselves at their small brew kettles in the brewery. The new beers are brewed on large brewhouses (15 to 45 hl). The beers are unfiltered, brewed with natural and best raw materials. fleuther stands without question regionally for the Lower Rhine with its name and the Lower Rhine head willow in the logo. The success speaks for itself - the beers are also available nationwide and our young brewery is growing steadily. We are organizer, sponsor & supplier of the Tolkien Days (June) and Halloween Party (October) in Geldern-Pont with our beer Brown Ale "1420er Eichental" and the Pils "EINS".
