More information about GreenMONKey Hersbrucker
The Weißenohe monastery brewery pays homage to the green gold hops with a very special series: The GreenMONKey beers All three variants are brewed in the same way and belong to the same beer style The template is the Pilsner, a popular beer in German latitudes and a true classic that should not be missing in any well-stocked range Both the barley used and the hop varieties come from organic cultivation and are therefore of excellent quality Four hops are used for the basic hopping, The beer is also cold fermented and allowed to mature to its full glory unfiltered over a period of three months The special feature of the GreenMONKey range and the subtle difference between the three beers is the fourth hopping: In the so-called dry-hopping process, the base beer is hopped with three different hop varieties
GreenMONKey Hersbrucker is hopped with Hersbrucker mountain hops These hops are grown in the hop-growing regions around the Weißenoher monastery brewery and are affectionately called "home hops" by the brewers
The pale beer flows into the glass in a magnificent golden yellow and forms a stable, white head A fine herbal aroma wafts into the nose, mingling with subtle malt notes and a subtle fruitiness The taste of the Hersbrucker version delights with a wonderful hop bitterness, which is balanced by beautiful malt notes and a pleasant sweetness Herbal, malty, drinkable!
