More information about Holzhauser Leichte Weisse
A wheat beer tastes good at any time of year, but in summer this fruity, fresh beer is a very special treat The wheat beer combines soft notes of sun-ripened, golden ears of corn with warm spice and a tropical hint of banana The crisp texture is reminiscent of a milkshake and the delicately cloudy gold reflects the sun in the azure sky - pure summer!
Because most wheat beers have an alcohol content of around 5.0 % despite their enormous quaffability, you can only enjoy them when the working day is over and you have no other plans or things to do in your diary The Leichte Weisse from the HOLZHAUSER brewery is different: This feather-light delight brings a slim 2.4% alcohol content to the glass and can therefore also be drunk on a Saturday lunchtime The summery wheat combines the classic taste of banana, clove and grain with a hint of roasted nuts and is therefore also perfect as a quaffable accompaniment to dessert
We prefer to serve our ice-cold Leichte Weissen with a homemade nut cake made according to grandma's old recipe: fluffy dough with toasted hazelnuts and a good dash of rum, served with a generous dollop of vanilla cream, a pinch of cinnamon and a well-tempered Weizen A summer afternoon's dream!
