Humboldt himself stands on his sailing ship, after a long arduous journey, and greets the native people in the South American jungle. At night, of course, because he is the one who brought guarana to Europe and knew how to enjoy the effects of the seeds, which had long been used by the peoples! By drinking Humboldt Guarana Vodka, he was able to get the energy he needed to dock his ship and greet the people and celebrate with them. Recipe Guarana-Vodka Mate:

• 5cl Humboldt Rye Dry Guarana Vodka
• 3cl fresh mate tea
• 2cl freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 1cl freshly squeezed orange juice
• 0.5cl sugar syrup
• Garnish: lemon or orange zest

Put all the ingredients, except for the mate tea, into a shaker, shake well, strain and pour into a highball glass filled with ice and top up with fresh mate tea. Alternatively, pour 5cl Humboldt Rye Dry Guarana Vodka into a highball glass filled with ice and top up with natural mate tea (e.g. Charitea Mate or natural mate syrup and soda).

Preparation

In 1799, the naturalist, explorer and universal scholar Alexander von Humboldt set off on his first research trip to Latin America. Humboldt Guarana Vodka is based on a German rye distillate, which is uniquely refined with guarana seeds from the Orinoco, which Alexander von Humboldt discovered in Latin America.
