More information about Orgel Weisse
The Orgelweiße owes its unusual name to a very special campaign: The very first brew of this wheat beer was brewed to raise money for the new organ of the Memmelsdorf church In the early 1990s, the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was undergoing extensive renovations and the aging organ was to be replaced in the process Such an instrument costs quite a lot of money and the Drei Kronen brewery, located right next to the church, wanted to help All proceeds from the Orgelweiße were donated at the time and made a significant contribution to the purchase of the new organ
When the brewery was handed over to its current bosses
Brewed seasonally between April and October, the beer has a warm honey hue and is topped off with a small crown of beige foam The Bavarian classic presents itself on the nose and tongue with fine malt, strong yeast, berry notes, hints of citrus, tart hops and a tangy character
