Ron Espero

Ron Espero

In 1513, Spanish conquistador and governor Vasco Nunéz de Balboa became the first European to dare to sail to the Pacific Ocean via the sea route near Panama. His driving force was the hope of exploring a New World. This hope also led him to explore what is now the Caribbean and settle on the island of Hispaniola, where the Dominican Republic is located today.

Ron Espero Rum is dedicated to this historical figure. Although the focus is on rum from the Dominican Republic, the wide product range also includes rum from neighboring countries such as Barbados, Jamaica, Guyana and Trinidad. In addition, the blending and bottling of the high-quality spirits is carried out by a plant in Costa Rica, which makes the Ron Espero brand multinational.
