More information about Brewery Faust Jahrgangsbock
This bock beer is truly unique: it is only brewed once a year and then stored for twelve weeks in the rock cellar of the Faust brewery in Miltenberg before being sold. A specialty beer that is more than worth the long wait!
The Faust brewery in Miltenberg has now been in existence for 350 years. Over the years, the brewery has accumulated not only excellent recipes but also a wealth of experience, which is repeatedly rewarded with prestigious awards. Faust's Jahrgangsbock is a prime example of expertise and a special brew for which only natural raw materials are used. As a result, each vintage of Jahrgangsbock is unique and develops unique flavor facets. To further boost the taste, the bottles are stored in the Faust treasure chapel deep below the brewery. Here the beer matures for three months and develops its intense character.
The vintage bock flows into the glass in a clear red-brown color and exudes the wonderful aromas of dried plums, dark chocolate, marzipan and sherry from its lightly browned head. The promising aroma is also reflected in the taste: the Jahrgangbock is a full-bodied composition of malty, caramel tones, which comes from the use of dark malts. The roasted malt aroma is joined by fruity notes of dark autumn fruit and a hint of liquorice. A hint of chocolate and freshly roasted coffee round off the taste experience.
The Jahrgangsbock from Brauhaus Faust is a sophisticated beer creation with a variety of flavor levels - perfect for festive occasions!
