More information about Maisel & Friends Marc's Chocolate Bock
Pure chocolate - that's what the name of Marc's Chocolate Bock suggests.
And the deep black hybrid of stout and bock beer already lives up to its name olfactorily: strong roasted malts meet the aroma of melt-in-the-mouth chocolate. The seductive aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans and a hint of dark fruit are added. But it's not just the aroma that hits the mark: in the glass, the dark beauty presents itself in pitch-black garb. The mahogany-colored beer has a ruby-red shimmer and is crowned by a handful of hazelnut-brown foam, which is wonderfully creamy and fine-pored, a delicacy in itself.
The first sip then ignites the fireworks of dark aromas and triggers a real taste explosion in the mouth: Roasted malt combines with soft caramel and tart men's chocolate to create a captivating composition. The heavy sweetness is complemented by a fine fruit acidity that carries notes of cranberries, ripe blackberries and other wild berries. The chocolate clearly sets the tone and dominates the taste in a wonderful way. Fruit, caramel malt and the delicate bitterness give the beer depth and structure.
Marc's Chocolate Bock has a heavenly creamy consistency and flatters the palate with a perfect balance of sweetness, acidity and subtle bitterness. This luxurious beer was inspired by Irish stouts, which delight with their aromatic power and complexity. Marc's interpretation is in no way inferior to its Irish counterparts!
