More information about Maisel & Friends Marc's Chocolate Bock

The name of Marc's Chocolate Bock suggests pure chocolate.

And the deep black hybrid of stout and bock beer already lives up to its name olfactorically: Strong roasted malts meet the scent of melt-in-the-mouth chocolate. The seductive aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans and a hint of dark fruit join in. But it's not just the aroma that hits the mark: in the glass, the dark beauty presents itself in raven black. The mahogany-colored beer has a ruby-red sheen and is crowned by a handful of hazelnut-brown foam, which is wonderfully creamy and fine-pored, a delicacy in itself.

The Antrunk then ignites the fireworks of dark flavors and triggers a true taste explosion in the mouth: Roasted malt combines with soft caramel and tart men's chocolate to create a ravishing composition. The heavy sweetness is complemented by a fine fruit acidity that carries notes of cranberries, ripe blackberries and other wild berries. The chocolate clearly sets the tone and dominates the flavor in a wonderful way. Fruit, caramel malt and the delicate bitterness add depth and structure to the beer.

Marc's Chocolate Bock has a heavenly creamy texture and flatters the palate with a perfectly balanced balance of sweetness, acidity and subtle bitterness. Irish stouts, which inspire with their aromatic power and complexity, served as the model for this luxurious beer. Marc's interpretation is in no way inferior to his Irish colleagues!

Anyone who drinks craft beer has almost certainly stumbled across this name at some point. Hardly anyone on the scene is as experimental, open, and unbiased as Jeff Maisel, the mastermind behind Maisel & Friends. This must be due to his origins, because Jeff is half American and a Californian beach boy through and through: always in a good mood, ultra friendly and on a first-name basis with everyone. Jeff is the dazzling center of his own brewery and the initiator behind numerous collaboration brews. Maisel's mission Jeff is not only a passionate brewer, in addition to brewing outstanding beers, he also wants to be a trailblazer for the craft beer movement in Germany. Creative, flavorful beers of excellent craft quality are to become genuine alternatives to industrially produced beers, and Maisel & Friends is to play a significant role in this quest. In the future, beer lovers should... [Read more]
