More information about BroBier Helles
A hoppy highlight from Franconia, the hub of the (beer) world
Franconia is the Mecca for all beer lovers Upper Franconia proudly boasts that it is the region with the highest density of breweries in the world Anyone who has ever tasted one of the countless Franconian beers knows that the Franconians are true hop experts Helles, Dunkles, Kellerbier - in Franconia, people like to drink anything that is hoppy It is therefore hardly surprising that the two guys from BroBier are also hop artists The two are originally from Reckendorf, but most of their beers are brewed in Breitengüßbach in Franconia
From Franconia for Franconia (and all those who would like to be), that can only be good!
BroBier's most down-to-earth creation is their Urfränkisches - a brew that stems from a long tradition of fabulous beers and is part of Franconian tradition Andreas and Johannes worked hard until their unfiltered Helles was exactly what they had in mind
Our beer sommelier Marco Liebig tasted the Brobier pale ale for you:
After pouring, we are greeted by a naturally cloudy, light blonde beer with fine-pored foam in the glass
The nose has a grassy aroma with citrus zest, honey and redcurrant
The first sip is full-bodied, refreshing with a light citrus note and gentle blackcurrant
A tasty and fruity honey sweetness is noticeable in the finish, which is not too heavy
Our verdict:
Full-bodied with a subtly fruity hop note, a wonderfully refreshing beer at these temperatures A greeting to Franconia from us this way
Food recommendation:
Swabian potato salad with fried white fish, served with a cucumber salad with cream and dill dressing, Obazda and various cheese spreads with a selection of bread, summer salad (tomatoes, nectarines, romaine lettuce, rocket, basil, mozzarella, Parma ham, normal vinaigrette)
