More information about Mitschnagger Pilsener
A pilsner from the north that is a sight to behold!
Every region has its own special beer style, and just as wheat beers are associated with the south, pale pilsners tend to be associated with the north. Mitschnagger is a pilsner that comes from the far north and is a worthy representative of its genre. Flowery, green and fruity, the hops meet a well-balanced amount of malt.
Mitschnagger presents itself in the glass in the golden color of sun-dried straw and forms a white head that contrasts beautifully with the beer - a Pilsner as it is written in the book! Beautiful hop aromas emerge from the fluffy foam as the beer is poured: A tantalizing mixture of blooming summer meadow, fresh herbs and juicy fruit tickles the nose and makes you want to take your first sip. This pampers the tongue with a tart hop bitterness that is crisp and refreshing at the same time. There are a lot of hops in this pilsner, and they show their best side. The malt used balances out the hop bitterness elegantly, but leaves enough room for the hops, as befits a proper pilsner.
Mitschnagger from Buddelship is the perfect pilsner for anyone who wants to venture into the world of pilsner. It is typically bitter, but at the same time offers enough flavor and malt so that the bitterness is nicely integrated and rounded off. The perfect entry-level pilsner for fans of malty beers.
