Château de Rouillac
The old estate of Château de Rouillac, a former noble residence, was bequeathed in the 17th century by an advisor to the French king, Jean-Paul Loret (at that time president of the parliament of Bordeaux). In 1864, the estate was given to Baron Haussmann, who influenced it considerably. Rouillac is known for its radiant facade, square courtyard, stylishly designed rooms, horse stables and orangery. The Château de Rouillac maintained the memory of this period for a long time. Over the centuries, the owners changed several times, and the estate suffered greatly - and slowly deteriorated. In 2009, Laurent Cisneros developed a passion for the promising Château de Rouillac. It had the potential to be brought back to life. The privileged ambience, the unique climate and a remarkable soil provided the best conditions for wine production.
