The idyllic floodplain landscape of the Spreewald Biosphere Reserve, which resembles a river delta, extends 60 kilometers south of Berlin. The lowlands with their unique microclimate and the surrounding rye fields offer the best conditions for the production of rye whiskey. This is where the STORK CLUB whiskey distillery, founded in 2004, is located in the picturesque village of Schlepzig. Since then, award-winning whisk(e)ys of the highest quality have been distilled and matured there. In 2010, the whisky was awarded for the first time internationally by Jim Murray`s Whisky Bible with 94 points. In 2019 STORK CLUB received the award "World's Best Rye Whiskey".

STILVOL. stands for traditional schnapps and liqueurs from small distilleries, packaged in modern design. Williams & Co. have been hiding in grandma's cupboards long enough. With the claim to preserve tradition and to redesign it, the four friends Danny, Markus, Jessi and Markus give honest schnapps and liqueurs the attention they deserve again. The small team from Stuttgart and Laupheim works with three small distillers, one of whom is Jessi's grandpa Erich, who has been firing up his pot still for decades. Everything is handcrafted from regional or homegrown raw materials in Baden-Württemberg.

Conditions underground are not easy. Underground, work colleagues become real buddies. Buddies like Andi and Dirk, who have been getting through all of life's ups and downs together since their school days and like to toast it with a good drop. In 2016, they came up with the idea for Steiger Korn and Steiger Gin: spirits that are based on tradition but still have a special taste and, above all, remain genuine and down-to-earth. Together with Andi's wife Luci, they set out on a search in their homeland and found a local traditional distillery in Dorsten. Together with her, they develop Steiger Korn and Steiger Gin over the course of a year, experimenting with botanicals, citrus fruits and charcoal filters. Ken and Leon have christened the brand of their Coffee Gin "Spirits of Kaldi". According to legend, Kaldi was a goat herder from Ethiopia who discovered around the year 580 that his goats were full of energy as soon as they ate red berries from some particular bushes. He then brought them to a monk who did not like them at all. When he threw them into the fire in disgust, a delicious smell came up. Now the beans were collected, ground and brewed with water: the world's first coffee was born! Spirits of Kaldi recalls this insane story and brings together what belongs together: coffee and gin. With their Coffee Infused Gin, Ken and Leon wanted to bring two traditional beverage fields together: Barista and Bartender. The coffee is roasted in a traditional coffee roastery. The blend of beans was developed specifically for the Coffee Gin. With flavors of nut, chocolate, juniper and lemon, Coffee Gin is something for pure enjoyment and for mixing in cocktails.

Hafencity Gin stands for exactly what it bears in its name: the port of Hamburg. René Wolf has been inspired for the Hafencity Gin by what characterize Hamburg and its port. The city is the hub of spices and specialties, a pivotal point of tradition and modernity. As art director, René has a special devotion to detail. So he made 150 distillates, tried them out and developed them further until he came to this result, which we are all more than happy about. Due to the kaffir lime leaves and oranges, Hafencity Gin is a wonderfully refreshing, fruity and, above all, balanced gin with slightly spicy notes - due to nutmeg and cubeb pepper, among others. The Hafencity Gin is exactly what it promises: a tribute to Hamburg's Hafencity.

Both the two makers and the gin itself have their origins in the Black Forest. The distillation of the best ingredients has a long tradition here. In terms of taste, our gin is oriented to the proximity of France and Italy and thus combines the tastes of Central and Southern Europe. A gin in the spirit of Europe.

We, from the pleasure manufactory Sleeping Forest, have made it our task to create a gin that is as unique as its home. Deep forests, quiet rivers and a breathtaking landscape characterize the surroundings of Tambach-Dietharz, a tranquil place in the Thuringian Forest. This sense of tranquility and naturalness, hand-picked ingredients from the local forests, finely balanced flavors and a love of craftsmanship combine to create an incomparable taste experience. We are a very young company and produce our gin by hand in very small badges. No mass production, each bottle is unique. The pleasure, quality and the joy of drinking are our first priority. So far, Sleeping Forest Gin is offered exclusively here in our region and has found its way to a few select shelves and bars. In addition, we are also pursuing another mission. Because with every bottle of our gin sold, we donate 1€ to the Children's Hospice of Central Germany located here in Tambach-Dietharz. Enjoy and do good.

Jaga Royal GmbH is a young producer of innovative fruit distillates (brand: SissiS) and rum (brand: JagaRoyal) based in Tutzing on Lake Starnberg - in the neighborhood of Possenhofen Castle, where the future Empress Elisabeth of Austria spent her youth. We set out to bring fresh momentum to the very traditional fruit distillate market and to inspire new target groups. To this end, we have completely revised the production process. Using a special maceration process and aroma-preserving vacuum distillation technology, we have succeeded in producing fruit distillates that are particularly fruity in aroma and taste and have a beautifully mild finish. SissiS distillates can be enjoyed neat, but are also very suitable for mixing exciting aperitifs, long drinks and cocktails - a real novelty in the world of fruit distilling.
