Business development manager @ Gortinore Distillers & Co Natterjack Irish Whiskey is a unique blend, triple distilled in true Irish spirit and carefully crafted using Irish and American techniques. Our whiskey started out life aging in ex-bourbon barrels (traditional Irish) and finished in virgin American oak (traditional American), using just the right amount of char before bottling it to capture a unique Irish whiskey. Our whiskey is an affectionate tribute to the Natterjack toad because just like the Natterjack, our whiskey has chosen a different path. The Natterjack is the only toad native to Ireland. While all around it are hopping, it walks. It chooses its own course. Thanks to an adventurous spirit and ability to roam, it shows up in the most unlikely of places, not unlike the Irish.

Hambuca. The anise liqueur from Hamburg. The name is composed of the spirit "Sambuca" and the hometown of Hambuca "Hamburg". As the most important ingredient, star anise is the defining flavor note. Essential oils make Hambuca so full-bodied and flavorful. Hambuca is refined with natural maple syrup. This gives it its special, caramel and mild taste, as well as its unmistakable color, reminiscent of amber. A tribute to the Hanseatic city of Hamburg as a traditional trading city!

Our non-alcoholic alternatives to vodkas, liqueurs and wines do not fully reflect the taste and aroma of their original counterparts, in which the high alcohol content specifically stimulates the trigeminal nerve. However, for people abstaining from drinking alcohol - e.g. due to driving a car, taking medications or pregnancy - consuming non-alcoholic drinks, in addition to their sensory function, is also intended to replace specific behaviors related to alcohol consumption. This is achieved by the appropriate selection of the surroundings, the type of glass and additives used (ice, juices, carbonated drinks), as well as the celebration of tasting and raising toasts. Sociological research has proven that maintaining rituals when drinking nonalcoholic beverages -regardless of whether in company or alone -can effectively eliminate the tendency to drink alcohol.

In our small brewery in the Kreuzviertel district of Münster, we brew classics, creative newcomers, and seasonal specialties for on-site serving and develop new recipes for our bottled beers. In doing so, we make everything transparent and have placed the production well visible behind our counter. In the guest area, the brewery invites you to chill out and enjoy the beer. Beer snacks such as cheese cubes from the Hafenkäserei Münster and other snacks round off the visit to our brewery. In addition to on-site production, we produce six varieties of our beers - Helles, Pilsners, India Pale Ale, Scottish Ale, Naturradler and Beach Brew - non-alcoholic - at friendly breweries in NRW. There we find ideal conditions to implement our recipes developed in Münster 1 to 1 and to produce small quantities for the trade.
