Coffee, originally from Cuba, has been grown in Costa Rica since 1927. Only Arabica is grown in Costa Rica.
Costa Rica was one of the first countries to introduce industrial quality standards. Therefore, many experts call it one of the best coffees in the world. Our coffee from Costa Rica comes from the Tarrazu region. This is located south of the capital San Josè.
The altitude of cultivation is over 1500 meters, so a much higher fullness of flavor unfolds.
Costa Rica translates as rich coast. The country is also rich in coffee trees, because there are 100 coffee trees per capita.
