More information about Elch Bräu Pils
After a wonderful hike through Franconian Switzerland, body and soul need refreshment: visitors to the Fünf-Seidla-Steig® between Weißenohe and Thuisbrunn particularly enjoy a cool pilsner from Elch-Bräu at the end of their walk
The natural brew is the brainchild of master brewer, beer sommelier and master maltster Georg Kugler, who, together with his team, wields the mash paddle at Elch-Bräu His pilsner is made with a generous amount of aroma hops and is characterized by its intense hop aroma and enormous palatability The brewers have created a deep flavour, which ranges from notes of fresh, green hop cones to juicy citrus fruit and spicy meadow herbs A pointed, but never dominant bitterness rounds off the pilsner enjoyment harmoniously
In the glass, this blonde beauty is a pale golden yellow with a white head A delicate veil of yeast pervades the beer A bouquet of freshly harvested hop blossoms, pink grapefruit and sunny citrus fruit fills the air and entices you to drink it The taste test reveals a slender, light-footed body with a tangy citrus aroma, light-footed body with a tangy opening and the tropical fruitiness of American aroma hops in the middle section An elegant finish, seasoned with precise bitterness, crowns the enjoyment of the beer and leaves you thirsty for the next glass
