CREW Republic Brewery's first work was Foundation 11 However, the elegant brew was not created in today's brewery, Instead, its creators date it back to 2011 Back then, Timm and Mario ventured their first brewing attempts as hobby brewers In the backyard of their shared flat in Munich's Glockenbach district, they set up a home brewing system and brewed their first brews In view of Germany's still rather limited beer selection at the time, the two pioneers wanted to brew exciting beers with depth of flavor, corners, edges and character The German Pale Ale changed everything: It was the beginning of their story and can still be found in CREW Republic's core range today
