As beautiful as its yellow color are the unmistakable fresh citrus aromas of Glen Carlou Chardonnay. Notes of pears and green apples provide an even fruitier character on the nose and palate. On the palate, the white wine convinces with its crisp acidity and an elegant and long finish. Since the oak barrels in which the Glen Carlou Chardonnay was given ten months to age were treated with the water-bending method before toasting, the white wine scores with a softer mouthfeel. However, the Glen Carlou Chardonnay not only caresses the palate pure, it also goes well with poultry, fish or pasta.
