More information about GreenMONKey Polaris
The Weißenohe monastery brewery pays homage to the green gold hops with a very special series: The GreenMONKey beers All three variants are brewed in the same way and belong to the same beer style The template is the Pilsner, a popular beer in German latitudes and a true classic that should not be missing in any well-stocked range Both the barley used and the hop varieties come from organic cultivation and are therefore of excellent quality Four hops are used for the basic hopping, The beer is also cold fermented and allowed to mature to its full glory unfiltered over a period of three months The special feature of the GreenMONKey range and the subtle difference between the three beers is the fourth hopping: In the so-called dry-hopping process, the base beer is hopped with three different hop varieties
GreenMONKey Polaris is brewed with Hüller Polaris flavour hops and is characterized by a fine menthol aroma
Polaris flows into the glass in a delicate light gold color and forms a small, dense head A mild, fruity hop aroma rises from the white foam A hint of citrus and a subtle peppermint note round off the olfactory aroma and whet the appetite for the first sip The first sip reveals a creamy, light-footed body with a silky texture, light-footed body with a silky mouthfeel Beautiful hop notes of mountain mint, freshly mown grass and other juicy herbs unfold on a biscuity malt base The gentle mint note makes this beer something very special
