More information about Hanscraft & Co. original Helles
From Franconia to the world.
The model for this specialty from Hanscraft & Co. is a down-to-earth Franconian lager. Even non-Franconians should be able to enjoy this classic of Franconian drinking culture, so the brewmaster behind Hanscraft & Co. got to work and created his very own interpretation. The result is a malty masterpiece that conjures up Franconia in your glass.
The original Helle from Hanscraft presents itself in a gleaming, golden glass. A befittingly stately crown is enthroned on the beer and entices with notes of fine malt, freshly mown grass, a hint of fruit and white pepper to the first sip. The initial sip reveals a light-bodied beer with a range of subtle aromas. The malt makes its debut with subtle sweetness, full-bodied caramel notes and a touch of roasted grain. The hops contribute spicy aromas of cut herbs and tangy citrus, as well as giving the beer a delightfully pointed bitterness. The Original Hellen's flavor profile is subtly balanced and nicely structured. It is extremely drinkable and the perfect companion to summer dishes.
