More information about Huppendorfer Weizenbock
The Franconian brewery Grasser from Huppendorf is known far beyond the borders of Franconia for its excellent beer The brewery has been in family hands for more than 250 years and attaches great importance to supplying the ever-growing fan community with beer that not only tastes great, but can also be enjoyed with a clear conscience: In addition to its own solar power system, the brewery also has a wood chip system that runs on wood chips from regional forests around the brewery And the raw materials for the beer also come from the region: water from Trockental, hops from Hallertau and Spalt, barley from Franconian farmers
And that's it: One of our favorites is the Huppendorfer Weizenbock, a powerful strong beer with Franconian character and an alcohol content of 8.0% The specialty from Huppendorf presents itself in copper-golden amber in the glass and adorns itself with a stately crown of slightly tinted, firm foam A typical wheat aroma of banana rises from the dense foam, which is then combined in the nose with aromas of chocolate-dipped raisins, toffee and candied walnuts The taste of the winter wheat follows the olfactory first impression and caresses the palate with notes of oven-fresh banana bread with nuts, spicy yeast and cream caramel A hint of grassy hops and a small citrus note provide freshness and contrast
A masterpiece
