More information about Markus Schneider De Cutter Chenin Blanc 2019
The Markus Schneider De Cutter Chenin Blanc is the result of a winemaker friendship between Markus Schneider and Danie Steytler from the Kaapzicht winery in Stellenbosch. The grapes used for the finesse-rich white wine come from a single vineyard that is also one of the estate's oldest Bush Vine plantings. The vines, rooted close to the earth, are able to develop intense aromas - as is evident from the wonderfully fruity aroma, which is very diverse with flavors of mango, apricot and pineapple. Hints of lime, pear and gooseberry are added, with undertones of brioche and vanilla. On the palate, the full-bodied and elegant Markus Schneider De Cutter Chenin Blanc is also very fruit-driven and long-lasting in flavor. Enjoy the white wine, limited to 3679 bottles and aged for five months in Tonneaux barrels, best with dishes of white meat or pasta.
