More information about Pisco MalPaso Icono
The Pisco MalPaso Icono is in Chilean grape brandy made from muscatel grapes, which is a special feature 6 months after distillation in steel tank, stored in the absence of air. For this purpose, the grapes come from a special plot of the winery and are subjected to a strict yield reduction and are harvested very late to achieve the greatest intensity of aromas in the grape.
Although at first sight quite similar to the Pisco MalPaso Reservado, the Icónico forms a completely different aroma and flavor profile by eliminating the oxidative processes during storage.
Fruity and floral aromas are much more restrained and more tightly interwoven, while the character of the Moscatell grapes is preserved and even in the aftertaste still shows complex. The texture is incomparably velvety and soft - definitely enjoy pure and not too cold!

Since at least 1937, the company also distilled its own pisco in smaller quantities. The farm, which is now run by the fourth generation of the family and in which the fifth generation is already working diligently, now cultivates over 700 hectares. There, not only grapes for the own Pisco production are cultivated, but also table grapes and citrus fruits, as well as grapes for other Pisco producers. The best vines...
