The black currants from Mönchpfiffel Monastery are the basis of the currant liqueur. After several months of aging in the tank, this was seasoned with fine raw cane sugar. This resulted in a very fruity and little tart liqueur, which also reminds a little of red berries.

Bei Matthias Rosenberg gibt die Frucht den Ton an. Mit wenig Zucker wird in der Manufaktur regionales Bio-Obst zu Fruchtaufstrichen eingekocht bzw. zu Frucht-Likören verarbeitet. Somit bleibt der charakteristische Geschmack jeder Frucht im Glas intensiv erhalten. Das Obst, bis auf die Bitterorange, stammt von Bio-Höfen aus Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Thüringen und Brandenburg.
