Only 8 kilometers from the palm beaches of the Caribbean coast, our bananas grow amidst the fertile soils of Costa Rica. The bananas are peeled by hand and form the basis for a liqueur that is particularly exotic in our latitudes. The banana liqueur was made from the banana fruit brandy.
Schwechow liqueurs are a harmony of the finest distillate and high-quality fruit juice. The high quality fruits are pickled and pressed into alcohol. This is followed by filtration and, unlike our fruit brandies and spirits, no distillation. In the final step for our irresistible liqueur is refined with sweetness and various flavors.

Schwechow fruit distillery
Schwechow Manor is a historic estate built in 1229, which today houses the Schwechow Fruit Distillery. The distillery produces fine fruit brandies, spirits, liqueurs and gin and is located in the heart of the Mecklenburg Elbe Valley Nature Park. The distillery originally dates back to the 18th century. Today, high-quality spirits are produced here under the motto "Preserve tradition, shape the future", including many in limited editions. Our fruit brandies, spirits and liqueurs are made from the best and most aromatic fruit. The estate's lovingly restored former pigeon house houses Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's first fruit capper distillery. Our high-quality Platinum products in mouth-blown glass decanters round off our premium range.
