More information about Vrede en Lust Marguerite Chardonnay 2021
Complex and fruity - that's the Vrede en Lust Marguerite Chardonnay. The grapes from Elgin produce a white wine that delights with its fresh citrus aromas as well as notes of lemongrass and a slightly floral fragrance. A mineral note is added on the palate, making this fruity wine a taste sensation. The Vrede en Lust Marguerite Chardonnay matures for eleven months in French oak and is a delight on the palate on its own with its crisp yet soft mouthfeel. The white wine also goes very well with fish, poultry or salad. Incidentally, the wine is named after the eldest daughter of the first owner of Vrede en Lust, Marguerite de Savoy, who was considered to have a particularly strong and extravagant character.
