More information about Waterford Estate Single Vineyard Chardonnay 2018
The grapes used for the Waterford Single Vineyard Chardonnay come not only from a single vineyard, but also from one of the oldest Chardonnay vineyards in South Africa, planted in 1988. In a brilliant olive green, the white wine shimmers in the glass and impresses the connoisseur with aromas of lime and fresh peach, which are underpinned by a light note of oak. The soil of the vineyard consists of clay and granite and gives the Waterford Single Vineyard Chardonnay its structure, finesse and beautiful minerality. The rich and complex white wine is therefore a real treat on its own, but it also accompanies dishes with poultry or fish quite excellently. Especially tuna and salmon are a good choice. Cheese or vegetarian dishes can also be combined very well with the Waterford Single Vineyard Chardonnay.
