The grapes from 15-25 year old vines were harvested by hand, selected twice, destemmed and fermented at 28°C in stainless steel tanks. Maturation took place for 12 months in barrique barrels made from 80% French and 20% American wood. The clear, brilliant wine with an intense dark cherry color shows elegant fruity aromas paired with vanilla, cocoa, roasted coffee beans and a hint of mint. It is extremely juicy on the palate with a long-lasting finish.

Bodegas Grupo Yllera
The current owners are the 6th generation Yllera family together with the oenologist Ramón Martinez. The winery is located in the middle of the region and is divided into production and an old historic building used exclusively for storage and cultural purposes. This building dates back to the XIV century and has about 1 km of tunnels and passages that are 20 meters deep. The brand "Yllera" has almost cult status in Spain and is one of the most famous wines of the country.
